While managing the altar flowers and leading the special events team at their local parish, the mother-daughter duo found an affinity with floral design. Soon after, parishioners, family, friends, non-profit organizations and corporations took notice and decided that these two brought not only a heighten sense of professionalism, but a passion for flowers and a gift for unearthing a client’s vision!

With roots in Charleston, South Carolina—mom, Carolyn, was born and raised there through undergrad, and daughter, Endira, spent her formative years there four months out of each year until she was 10—the Gullah connection runs deep and truly impacts who they are and the designs they create.

After much persuasion and prayer, the two officially launched Gullah Girls Too Floral Design & Decor on September 19, 2025, which just happened to be Endira’s 40th birthday! Gullah Girls Too is a full service floral design studio that curates special moments to create memories that will last a lifetime.
